God's Simple Plan of Salvation
We sing a song about God being our maker and manufacturer. He has made you a unique individual with a special purpose in His plan. It is God's desire that all people come to know him and live in friendship with Him.

True happiness and contentment are found in living our life in alignment with God's design. The problem is that our own sinfulness gets in the way of our knowing God and blocks us from living in agreement with Him. Here is the solution:

Admit that you are a sinner.

"But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." Isaiah 64:6

Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins.

"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that made us whole, and with his stripes we are healed." Isaiah 53:5

"But God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

Call upon Jesus Christ, accepting Him as your Savior.

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13

God promises forgiveness of sins and eternal life to anyone who will believe in Jesus Christ and receive Him as Savior. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

Here is a sample prayer.

"Heavenly Father, I believe you love me. I believe Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Today, I confess Jesus as my Lord and receive the forgiveness of all my sins. Holy Spirit, come in to my life. Thank You for saving me, in Jesus' name. -- Amen"

The words you say do not save, Jesus does. Put your faith in him. Then get yourself a Bible and read the book of John.
